September '06 Meeting -- Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close
All right. So for this first meeting of the semester, we're planning to discuss Jonathan Safran Foer's novel Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. Of course I'm hoping for a lively discussion, since this book is so very cool. I am amazed at Foer's imagination, and I'm captivated by Oskar. I can se why all these people let him into their homes and sometimes bare their souls to him. This is definitely one of my favorite books this year. All right. I'll stop there since we're meeting tomorrow.

I enjoyed the meeting. A book that sounds interesting to me for next month is The Known World, by Edward P. Jones. It was nice to meet you all.
