Jan Plan

Hey Fellow Book clubbers (or is Bookies better -- place your bets!),

I just wanted to give you a heads up on the Jan. meeting. Amy and I haven't nailed down the exact date yet, but it'll probably be wed. jan17, or thereabouts. So just plan on having The Book of Daniel finished by then. I'll let you know as soon as I do when exactly it will be and where exactly, too. If any of you have a hot tub (Brenda?) maybe we should have it at your house.

writing/poetry nights at the paper moon

Some folks from Carr's 210/211 class are starting a monthly meeting at the Paper Moon Diner for writing sessions and poetry/short fiction reading. The first meeting has been proposed at 6:00 on Saturday, January 6th. (If the date/time changes I'll let you know.)

You'll need to bring food money, something to write with and any writing you want to share (it doesn't have to be your own).

Book of Daniel

Hey Everyone,

at our last meeting we decided to read The Book of Daniel by E.L. Doctorow. This will be a little more informal, as we're gonna try and get together at Carr's or Amy's house sometime mid-January for some eating and discussing the book.
