Book Suggstion

I've heard that The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield is a good read. Barnes & Noble gives it a good review and places it on its recommendation list. It suits October well with a remote Halloween theme.

I am obviously new to this, but I hope to participate more at the next meeting and share ideas. I love to hear alternate insights and different perspectives.

I look forward to the meetings this semester. :o)

September '06 Meeting -- Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close

All right. So for this first meeting of the semester, we're planning to discuss Jonathan Safran Foer's novel Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. Of course I'm hoping for a lively discussion, since this book is so very cool. I am amazed at Foer's imagination, and I'm captivated by Oskar. I can se why all these people let him into their homes and sometimes bare their souls to him. This is definitely one of my favorite books this year. All right. I'll stop there since we're meeting tomorrow.
